Due to quarantine and COVID-19, we’ve had a lot of free time on our hands. If you’re like me, you have been super bored and haven’t known what to do. So I am here to help! Here’s a list of things you can do when you are bored and home. There are many ways to get rid of your boredom and it can be super affordable or at no cost at all. Here are the top five ways to beat your COVID boredom.
During gym class, you have either just finished or have started yoga. During the time of boredom, it would be a great time to work on your yoga skills! There are many videos online explaining how to do specific types of yoga positions. You can also try out a new workout. Due to COVID, gym has to be online, so there are many workout videos in your gym folder in Schoology.
At your local store there are many coloring books for super cheap. If you can’t get out to stores, there are free apps on your mobile devices that you can color different pictures. It’s a super relaxing and good way to get rid of your boredom.
Rearrange Your Room
There are many things that could be changed, even if it’s just a picture frame.
Since our weather is very unpredictable, there are many things you can do outside! If you can, go out to a nearby park. If it is still snowing or raining, go out and play in the weather! If it’s nice outside, go for a walk or go biking! There are also many trails that you can walk through just in our neighborhoods.
You can even get a book and apps. If reading is not for you, there is also an app called Audible. This app gives you a large selection of audiobooks to download. Some apps that you can get books from include Google Books, Smashwords, Bookbub, etc! I have just finished the book The Fault in our Stars. It is a super good book written by John Green. It also has a movie that you can watch after. I love to compare the book versus the movie. I have also gotten into a lot of poetry. One of my favorites right now is called “September love” by Lang Leav.
