JV Baseball

Coach: Mr. Denman

Captains: Isaac Quintieri, Ben Brown, Ryan Edholm

So far this season the Boys JV Baseball Team is doing very well. Promising players, such as pitcher Jeremy Kozak, catcher Chet Palmer and outfield/pitcher Owen Clemen-Regan are really helping the team grow together and keep the momentum going during games. "We are a very talented team this year," said Coach Denman. "Having lots of sophomores returning along with new good freshman will make for a successful season." So far the team is very strong while at bat, outscoring their opponents 24-2 in their first three games, all the while only making one total error.

Boys JV Lacrosse

Coach: Mr. Mitchum

Captain: Xavier Laboy

So far this season, the Boys JV Lacrosse team has been working very hard and have already come a long way. Though there is some inexperience among the team, many of the boys are stepping up according to Coach Mitchum, "Connor Weiskerger is a first year player on the first midline who is putting in his all and Jacob Korte is playing the hardest position on the field, Long Stick Middie (LSM) and is getting better every game." Coach Mitchum also included that he's expecting captain Xavier Laboy to be the heart and soul of the team this season, as well as for Xavier to do the dirty work and play hard.

Girls Varsity Lacrosse

Coach: Mr. Lowe

Captains: Sam Wozniak, Kaylynn Weisbeck, Rebecca Thompson

The Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team is off to a great start so far this year. Many players this year are returning and Coach Lowe said he expects the team to continue to grow and eventually peak after spring break. "Team speed is a strength but our defense has been a weakness so far," said Coach Lowe. "We need to tighten up and communicate more!" Overall the team has had some setbacks this season, but is expected to improve greatly as the squad is very talented and close to one another.

Varsity Softball

Coach: Mr. McNamara

Captains: Madison Gerber, Riley Kromer, Jillian Czaykowski

This season is off to a great start for the Girls Varsity Softball team. The team's young talent is impressive to Coach McNamara who is happy to see that the team is doing outstanding so far. "We are currently three and zero," Coach McNamara claims. "We expect to play deep into the playoffs as we are off to a strong start." The girls are getting along great with three returning captains who Coach McNamara expects to lead the team both at the plate and in the field. Coach McNamara said that he "hopes the entire team will continue to stand out and play well against opponents throughout the season."

Boys Varsity Tennis

Coach: Mr. Koziol

Captains: Andrew Thiele, Dylan Okun, Sun Kook

So far this season the Boys Varsity Tennis team has been showing quite a bit of team chemistry and competitiveness, as the team has quite a few players with similar abilities that could beat one another on any given day. This year, the team captains are all returning seniors who Coach Koziol expects to fill the big roles and compete well throughout the season. "The team is very strong in the serving aspect of the game, as all of the top players have improved greatly with their ground strokes, but it will also be a weakness because I think sometimes the difference in our matches when it comes to winning or losing will be our ability to serve well," said Mr. Koziol. He also mentioned that many players such as juniors Cole Feldmann, Connor Maryfield and Ryan Sinclair as well as senior Mike Kelley have improved greatly during the offseason and will compete for starting lineup time too.
