Student Gov’t Meeting, 10/3/18
Your student government just had it’s first meeting concerning what changes we need to make.
There were many issues brought up that should positively bring SHHS into a more positive and fun light. Some of the main viewpoints that senators and presidents chatted about were having more community bonding days to build Sweet Home spirit and unity, as well as strength of communication between students to staff to avoid run-ins stemming from miscommunication.
The members of the government also brought up permission of nonreligious headgear, reopening the courtyards, and changing meals and vending machine food as a few minor, but possible, points.
The members seem very determined to make sure that everyone in the school feels like they have a voice and that they matter at school.
